Pandora Jewelry Little Big Planet 2 Review

Little Big Planet 2 Review

For those who didn’t play Pandora Jewelry the original LBP on PlayStation 3, the game centres on a curious little character called Sackboy (though you can customize the look to be a girl), who goes on delightful adventures through a myriad worlds that look as if they were made in a skilled craft shop.

The twist is creation. The ability to create and share your own game levels is what set Little Big Planet apart from most other platform games, and in this second version that is even more apparent.

Everyone should start their experience playing through the story mode, with 30 plus levels to explore.

This in itself is a delightful game. The visuals are amazing from underwater and city scenes to being inside a body flowing through the bloodstream, the levels are engaging and imaginative. And with a healthy dose of vehicles and animals (you actually ride a bee at one point) there is wonderment at pretty much every turn.

The twist on story mode is that you can play co operatively with up to three friends. Of course, where this gets a bit confusing is Sackboy himself isn’t that big and it can get confusing in co op mode.

There are hundreds of things to collect and unlock through the game: Stickers, outfits, extras, even some spectacular minigames such as air hockey and basketball. The variety in Little Big Planet 2 makes it well worth the money you spend there is an untold number of things to do and play.

Even if you just enjoy the table set for you by the professional game makers, you’ll love this game.

But if you want to delve into your creative side, you simply must try to create something in LBP2. Though the process used to make things here is not all that complicated, it’s good to have some direction.

My gameplaying style is one of extreme impatience. I haven’t read a word of any game manual since Madden stopped putting the big play chart spreadsheet in the box (and they should bring that back, by the way), and even tutorials and traini Pandora Jewelry ng levels are skipped for the most part because I just want to get to the gaming.

But it’s well worth your time to go through the tutorials here to understand everything that goes into making a good level.

You can Pandora Jewelry use a massive array of elements to make your level, including little sackbots that you can use as helpers or enemies. You can give them behaviours and even use them to build your own cutscenes.

The amount of things at your disposal from vehicles to jetpacks and powerups like “grabinator gloves,” which allow you to throw all sorts of huge objects, means you really can get way out there designing what would be your perfect level.

The big trend in gaming right now is active motion based gaming that exercises your body. Little Big Planet will do that for your mind.

While I found this game to be wonderful and it’s something that appeals to all ages from the little ones who will just love the gameplay to the hardcore gamers who will dig the creation this isn’t a game for someone who wants to pick up a controller and blast away. This is about creation, not destruction.

One thing I found about Little Big Planet 2 is that during the whole time I was pl Pandora Jewelry aying, I had a smile on my face. There’s a real sense of wonderment about this game, and its one that is worth not only the money, but the time you’ll invest in playing.

Rating: E for everyone.

What’s right: Creativity and imagination combine for a wonderful entertainment experience.

What’s wrong: Hard to see who’s who in co op play.

Numb Thumb: Graphics A; Gameplay A+; Value A+; Control B.

It’s not the PSP2, not officially at least, and technically doesn’t have a name yet as they’re still referring to it as NGP, but we will be able to get it late this year.

The device will have both Wi Fi and 3G connectivity and functions with a touch screen, dual analog sticks and two cameras (front and back).
